I was checking out the post from Eferg I started thinking…Are we ready for a Biggie movie? I know there has been other smaller movies and documentaries but is it time for a big screen version and what time frame will it actually cover? The key cast members have been announced for The Notorious B.I.G. upcoming biopic, Notorious. Rapper Gravy, whose real name is Jamal Woolard, is set to portray the iconic rapper with Anthony Mackie as Tupac. User thompsonsroofing said, "No one can be biggie, he was one of a kind!" I agree there is only one Biggie but Woolard does remind me of him.
The cast also includes Angela Basset, who will play Big's mom Voletta Wallace, and actor Derek Luke, in the role of Sean "Diddy" Combs. The fact that Angela Basset is in the movie makes me want to see it. Wallace and Diddy are both serving as producers for the film. Good for you Ms. Wallace!! I'm sure they had some say in who played them in the movie. But the success of the movie will fall on Woolard's acting skills. Who would you like to see cast in the movie?
