Asana means seat--The physical part of the yoga practice you see or do is called the "Asana practice".
Yogis say the big idea of life is to be comfortable in your seat. So every day or each minute of every day Your seat or pose promotes a new challenge. The idea is to smile and breathe no matter what the difficulty involved in your seat. This is what's called "moving prayer", It's to be graceful and loving in every pose. This is also what the Christians refer to as "Christ conscousness", what the buddhist call "nirvana" and the yogis call "samahdi". Practice all day--smile and breathe in every pose. Carry this moving prayer or meditaion. The practice is to remember to remember.
Sorry I'm not politcal today. They (my team at Global grind) asked for a blog so I wrote this s**t fresh out my morning meditation. Its simple stuff, just that I forget it all the time :-). I hope this helps heal what hurts.
With great love, all things are possible.
