The current incarnation of the "Stop Snitching" campaign in the hip-hop
community is an ignorant, selfish, and destructive code that can ruin
entire communities. However, if such a policy were ever acceptable, it
would be right now concerning Jose Canseco.
Global Grind's resident posting machine Sensation shared the story of Canseco's latest snitching victim, Alex
Rodriguez. Alex is currently being bombarded with questions about steroids because Jose says he once introduced A-Rod to
a man known for selling them in his new book. You've read this
correctly, Mr. Canseco is selling a book based around the single piece
of evidence that Rodriquez once shook hands with a criminal.
How pathetic is it that you have to try and ruin another man's career
because you won't get off your ass and make an honest living? Does it
do the world any good now that Jose has filled us in on this useless
information? A-Rod is taking the high road, and Global Grinders seem to
agree with him. Stryker says, "I don't blame Alex for
not commenting, no one else should play into Canseco's crap so he can
get paid." If Canseco isn't stopped here, who's to say he doesn't
create another book exposing MLB players who cheated on their wives? Or
how about doing interviews with gay men's magazines to tell the sizes
of his team mates penises?
The possibilities for Jose capitalizing off useless information is
limitless. I know the United States loves gossip, but it's time for us
to collectively tell this guy to go play hop scotch on the freeway. In
other words, stop snitchin' and get a real job you bum.
Does anyone out there think there's a noble cause behind Jose revealing this information? -Sportaphile
