I came across a hilarious photo grinded by Kwame06. It was a picture of Usher walking his dog with the caption “Does Tameka Know About This B*tch?”.
The caption was referring to a story printed earlier in the week by the
New York Post that claimed that Tameka Foster was upset when she found
out that Usher personally picked singer Keri Hilson to play the lead in
his new video “Make Love In The Club”.
According to the story grinded by Kapital One “Tameka is very insecure,” our source said. “Even in rehearsals she
was weird and clearly not happy that Keri is so gorgeous. Tameka threw
a lot of attitude. The day of the shoot, Tameka dressed Keri very badly
- she looked like an extra. Tameka wouldn’t let Keri have her
hairdresser there - she had to use the hairdresser who was doing the
extras.”
Stan1748 commented “Usher should have found out what her flaw's are before he
said I Do her. Usher Momma know a car accident when she see one next
time listen to your Momma Usher Stan the Man.” While luvboo added: “Of
COURSE she's gunna be insecure about beautiful woman becuz beautiful,
she is NOT! This pic almost looks gross to me, like that's his auntie
but with her hand on his leg. EEEWWW!"
Usher’s manager released a statement that the story is completely
false. Tameka will always have that bad stigma surrounding her as
Usher’s fans have been very vocal about their disapproval of his
relationship with Tameka. I remember during an Essence interview,
Tameka was asked how did she know Usher was the man for her, in which
she replied: “I knew he was the man for me when I told him personal
things about me and he didn't flinch. I never felt like he judged me.
Instead, he just accepted me for who I am. I am 36 with three children
so I don't have the body of a 21-year-old. I have flaws, I have an
attitude problem, I never make flights and the list goes on. Overall, I
have issues that a person could either love or hate, but he accepted me
completely. And every day he still treats me like we just met.”
And to that, I say "Amen!" People may not realize this but Keri Hilson
is Polow Da Don’s artist. Polow produced the "Make Love In The Club”
track, and I’m sure Usher put Keri as the lead in the video as a favor
to Polow. Just another example of how stories get twisted out of
proportion in the press..
