Last week was a busy week in the courthouses for celebrities. According to a story grinded by Kwame06 Remy Ma was convicted on four major charges in the assault trial that stemmed from a shooting last year. Charges included two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon. Remy is facing up to 25 years in prison but atleast she has a strong man by her side. Rapper Papoose finally admitted to MTV News, that him and Remy were engaged and planned to marry while she was serving her time.
"We always wanted to keep our personal lives personal, so that's why we never went public with our relationship. Right now, I just feel like she gotta live through me. Yes, we were scheduled to be married on a yacht April 27th. But due to circumstances beyond our control, we are now making arrangements to be married in prison."
Just after being allowed to attend Church Services on Easter Sunday, T.I. received a huge pat on the wrist after changing his plea to guilty last Thursday. As a part of his plea agreement T.I will serve 1500 hours of community service and will more than likely be sentenced to one year in jail according to realerthanlife's post. Some wonder how a prior convicted felon got off so easy? The internet chatrooms have been a buzz with the question of whether T.I has snitched to gain such a sweet deal. In sadder news, Sean Levert the son of Eddie Levert passed away this morning while he was being held in jail. Sean was locked up last Thursday for failing to pay over $80,000 in owed child support. In an article grinded by Kwame06, a family member alluded that the cause of death could have been suicide stating "Going to jail and all the publicity surrounding it was too much for [Sean]. It's an extremely sad situation."
