LIFESTYLE: Tatts-A-Go-Go

I remember when tattoos had a huge resurgence in the early '90s. All of a sudden, the ink wasn't just on the lowlifes anymore. Tats were accepted and it seemed like everyone and their moms were getting one. Flash-forward 15 years later, and witness the repercussions of the tattoo era. I actually like the "chair and ottoman" tattoo, but that would have to be about it. The "Human Chessboard" is really disturbing. I don't know how that guy doesn't flip out every time he looks in the mirror. I mean, I'd rather have The Game's butterfly-star-LA sign  on my face any day! GG user, Stryker threw in his two cents with some sound advice, "you dont want to get a bad tatoo because they are not that easy to get rid of make your selection carefully get a good one and you wont want to stop gettting them". I'm just glad my tattoo didn't show up on there. Holla!

Whoa! You've got to see this ESPN segment on Kimbo Slice posted by realerthanlife. The story of Kimbo is seriously bananas. He went from being a security guard for internet porn shoots to becoming an overnight youtube sensation for clobbering fools on tape. ESPN breaks down Kimbo's whole journey from the underground street-fighting circuit, to professional,
mixed-martial arts fighting. If Kimbo plays his cards right, he can achieve a level of pop-culture relevancy way beyond Mr. T's wildest dreams. Now this guy looks like he would have some tattoos, and he does. There's one on his arm that says, "No Fear".

I think Macy Gray has some tattoos, too. Joyous posted this photo of her looking extra wild in head-to-toe animal print on the red carpet for the Vh1 Fashion Awards. No matter how crazy her steez gets though, she still get's mad love from her Global Grind fam. Ms.Cat says, "She dares to be as different as she can. She likes to be as unique as she can and not care what people think she should be wearing. It's wild...do you." Another supporter, RobertL chimes in, "Do YOUR Thang Macy! I love you because you are different. Copycats
are frauds!I don't have to say keep being You.Just keep showing daring people to BE different." Macy's not out of the woods yet with her animal-print self. Non-believer, Nora says, "She looks terrible. The dark lipstick, the electric shock hair, the animal print dress and boots... it's all too much." Personally, I think Macy Gray made a  bad
choice that evening, but hey, it's still better then the guy with the checker board tattooed on his face. -Sugarbread
