LIFESTYLE: Style Don't Live Here No More

How cute. Lenny Kravitz and his hip, young daughter, Zoe, have matching moth-holes in their clothes. It seems like the richer Lenny gets, the poorer he looks, even though his vintage T-shirt with the strategically placed holes, probably cost more then my whole wardrobe combined. It's all good though, because it's his own personal "Lenny" style. He is opting to dress "down" as opposed to dressing "up." That's cool, right? Can Lenny look like a vagabond and still look good? Or would you like to see him cleaned up and looking extra crisp? That might be cool too!

I'm just thankful that Zoe is following in her dad's ratty, bohemian footsteps instead of wearing stuff like this. These jeans set back the feminist movement a thousand years. The only women I can see rocking these would be hookers, bored housewives or strippers. The thing is, is that the beauty of personal style is just that; it's personal. I couldn't really hate if I saw an unsuspecting soccer-mom in a pair of thong-jeans. It's her way of expressing to the outside world, "Hey! Look at me! I'm a whore!" And like Bobby Brown, it would be her prerogative.

Now, this is when the flashy side of being wealthy goes wrong. L.A. Laker, Lamar Odom thought it would be a good idea to tap into the talents of Dr. Romanelli who is kind of like the equivalent of a modern-day Dapper Dan.  Dr. Romanelli makes custom patchwork jackets for celebrities like Nas and Lupe Fiasco. His gear usually has a really cool vintage, '80s super-fresh look to it. Except this time. I don't know what happened but something went wrong here. Lamar's custom jacket looks like the Laker monster threw-up on him. He had it specially made so he could wear it to the Denver Nuggets game yesterday. Luckily, Kobe was there to bring the Lakers to victory. I'm sure if they lost, everyone would've blamed Lamar's jacket. Again though, I can't hate on another man's personal style choices. -Sugarbread
