When I was younger and didn’t know any better, I used to envy women who flaunted their expensive jewelry, cars and lavish gifts from men willing to spoil them rotten. Lil Kim isn’t a stranger to this as she has received two cars as gifts from the guys she was dating. A Lambo from Ray J and Bentley valued at $250-300,000 from Producer Scott Storch.
In a story grinded by me, the last laugh was on Lil Kim as the repo man came pounding on her door to collect the keys for that Bentley. If you have been following Scott Storch’s financial troubles, most of his property has gone into foreclosure and he was forced to sell his 20 million dollar yacht on Ebay for just $600,000 dollars. The repo man came to collect Kim’s Bentley claiming the payments hadn’t been made in about five months.
My question is, if you accept a gift as expensive as a house or Bentley from a guy, can you at least make sure it’s paid in full? It’s nothing like being stuck with a bill you can’t pay. This is definitely a case of flossin’ gone wrong…
And while we are on expensive gifts, according to reports, Nick Cannon presented Mariah Carey with a $2.5 million engagement ring this week. The only problem is, it’s the same engagement ring he gave Victoria Secrets model Selita Ebanks last year when he proposed to her in Times Square. Tacky? Pretty much, but we know this engagement is all a stunt and won’t last too long. At least we know he’s smart enough to take the ring back…
