DENVER, CO – On WEDNESDAY, October 29th, entrepreneur, philanthropist and activist Russell Simmons will join the Obama campaign for an Early Vote for Change Rally at Tivoli Commons in Denver. Simmons, in partnership with the Hip Hop Congress, will remind students of the importance of voting in this critical election. He will encourage students, and all Coloradans, to cast their early vote ballots for Senator Barack Obama.
Simmons will be joined at the rally by Denver City Councilman Michael Hancock and former Denver Broncos player Rod Smith. Following the rally, speakers will lead a march to the closest early vote location. Early voting started last week and ends this Friday, October 31.
