Well I know I am the main one who gets down on celebrities when they make a mistake but I am here to let you know that we shouldn't judge Lyfe, we should in fact pray for him because anyone can go off the path.

Now everyone knows that the more talented you are, the more mental problems you have hence Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, even Avant. So this comes to no surprise that Lyfe was locked up over something dealing with domestics. Now I have never met Lyfe Jennings; I only saw him perform once in person but I could tell from day 1 that my babe had some issues going on within himself.

I always told my friends that I was in love with Lyfe but never wanted to actually have sex with him because I tell he had some emotional issues that he probably didn't work out yet. I mean think like this...he was locked up for 10 years for arson. As most of us know arson is a “white boy” crime which makes it a sicko crime. And I don't know if he got 10 years for just arson but if he did that mean he tried to burn up a huge building and people were in it. Then you get out and instantly you're on the road to NYC to pursue a music career. You weren't home a year before you were back on the road; which means you never had a chance to settle down and think about yourself. As a celebrity, you go out the window and then it becomes all about them- fans, managers, music executives, etc. Etc. So you no longer have any time to figure out what it is that you want.

No matter what these rappers display in their videos, every man wants love. I think especially a celebrity man because no one seems to love them infinitely; everyone is out to get what they want and no longer give a damn about you. So when they meet that one woman who is down with them no matter what; they're hooked to her. Now I don't know the real story between Lyfe Jennings and his so-called wife/baby mother, Joy Bounds. But I heard that Joy was there from the start in the beginning of his career. She managed him and received producer credit on many of his hits which tells me she was the money behind the project. They moved to Atlanta (the home of the cheating man) after he became successful and had two sons. Rumors started around Atlanta and Mediatakeout about two chicks getting pregnant from Lyfe and I guess Joy wasn't having it and decided to bounce.

First off let me be the first to say that I love Lyfe but Joy Bounds is gorgeous. She seems very hard working (she owns her own Entertainment Company) and she went hard to get Lyfe out there. He probably did go out there and cheat because the coochie is the nectar that most men seem to not be able to turn down but like most people in a messed up situation- he learned his lesson and now wants his family back. Like he said in his recent hit, "Never Never Land", there's no other place that I rather be then with you and my kids, my family.

Now this is the part where anyone could lose it. Now let's pretend you messed up and you want your boo back but they're not hearing it or they went out there and got someone new. Hell it happens; it happened to me. And no matter what you say or do, they just don't want you back. That will make anyone depressed no matter what. Lyfe may have resulted in drinking, you may have resulted in eating but it makes you miserable.

Don't judge me but I remember when I broke up with my first boyfriend. I thought I was real cute but then a month later into the break up we had sex and I wanted him back. He told me he was talking to 2 new chicks but I didn't take it personal because he didn't make it seem that serious. Weeks passed by and I got crazy and broke into his phone only to find that this one chick was going hard. To make a long story short, he wanted to get back with me but he didn't want to let that new chick go so we just 86'd the whole idea of reuniting. Every time I thought about this chick, I would practically throw up because you never really want someone back until someone else got him. I went crazy. There's some strange things I did that I won't tell you but one of the strangest was me and him had an argument over the phone so I ran over to his house in the winter with just my brown Juicy outfit and we were arguing and tussling and when he closed the door in my face, I punched in the window of the door and proceeded to walk away. As I was walking away I slipped on a piece of ice and fell down the steps and my whole ass was out and I limped home.

We didn't even get back together. I know now that I'm older that all of it was over ego just like what Lyfe is going through. I didn't want him back; I just didn't want him with anyone else and I can imagine if he and I had kids, I probably would still be going crazy but it taught me a valuable lesson. Do good to people so you won't be so emotional once you break up with 'em because then you won't be crazy. Now if I cut you off; it’s for a reason. I just hope Lyfe get it together because he doesn't want to be locked up over this chick because he has a lot of talent and we need brothers out here like him because he is a genius, he just went through something personal and when you go through that you don't care who u are, you're just trying to make a point.

-Talkdatishgirl

Keeping It Under Wraps

Beyonce' is on the cover of the new Essence Magzine--which is one of the only magazines out that I still respect. In this issue, Beyonce is coming out and talking about her relationship with Young Hova himself, Jay-Z. When I first heard this I was like "yes, now she can finally keep it real and let the world know what's going on."

I can remember in some of Beyonce's interviews back when she first started dealing with Jay, she'd used to say that she won't talk about her private life until she is married because then that's when it's real. Well, she lied. So what? Bey and Jay-Z are indeed married it's taken her way too long to come clean about the relationship. Now I really don't believe that's any of her doing because when a woman bags one of the most powerful men in not only hip-hop, but in the world, she wants to talk about it. If a woman was granted an 18 carat Lorraine Schwartz ring, she wants to wear it. If you ask me, I think he told her to keep it on the low.

I guess it all balls down to this...if you live in the hood and you buy a Bentley Coupe during the summer, you're not going to hide it in a garage; you're going to drive that mothersucker up and down the block so everyone can see it. In Bey-Z's case, the road goes both ways.

-Talkdatishgirl

A Cool Head Can Save You 25 Grand

I know all you guys heard about the $25,000 rap freestyle battle between Rece Steele and Lady Luck. Yes, you heard me right $25,000 for a rap battle. When I heard that Rece Steele was battling Lady Luck, I became extra worried because I know as raw and "talented" Rece Steele seemed to be on the VH1's "Miss Rap Supreme", she may have not been ready for the more experienced and skillful Lady Luck who was once signed to a major record company.

I was invited to the battle in Harlem by Rece Steele's camp (in which veteran DJ Monie Love hosted) but opted not to go at the last minute because I knew that it might get ghetto. Later, I watched a video where Lady Luck tore Rece Steele apart piece by piece. Luck obviously did her research and planned her attacks before the battle even took place. I know they claimed it was a freestyle battle but Luck eventually admitted that she wrote every verse.

Rece Steele did try to show her natural freestyling skills but failed at her attempt when she got mad and let the hood come out. As soon as that happened, her voice heightened went hoarse and we ended up not even hearing what the heck she had to say except for when she threatened Luck with the burners. Bad move.

Overall, 25 Gs was snatched from Rece's hands because she focused so much on being hood that she forgot the important stuff like studying the competition. Steele needed to discover her opponent's weak spots and destroy 'em. I guess that's what Lady Luck was doing when Rece was too busy trying to grab the mic. Um, just saying...

Lesson learned.

-Talkdatishgirl

TIONNA ON THE TOWN: Test Before Testimony

Hey all you Grinders! This is your girl Talkdatishgirl. Well a lot has been going on lately. The first being the saddest--Blink 182’s Travis Barker and celebrity Disc Jockey, DJ AM was in a horrible jet accident which left four people dead. Doctors say that both Travis Barker and DJ AM will survive their injuries (although severe). There was really no internal bleeding or anything like that.

As most of you already know, tragedy always brings people back together, lovers especially. Singer Mandy Moore (DJ AM’s ex-girlfriend) and Barker’s ex-wife, Shanna Moakler rushed their sides to offer their love and support. Shanna and Travis have a very unique relationship; even though, they got divorced in 2004, the couple are still together.

There was no clear cut reason why Travis and Shanna broke up, with Paris Hilton's name attached to the situation we just automatically assumed infidelity. What will this accident teach Travis Barker or DJ AM about love, life, and luxury? Hell, what has this accident taught us all? Personally, it taught me to not only cherish life but that money can’t protect you from that same life we should cherish. Something as random and disastrous as a jet accident is something that nothing can protect you from no matter how much caution you take. It also taught me that when the smoke clears, the only people who will be there for you are the ones who truly love you whether it’s a friend, family member, or estranged lover.

I’m ending this hoping that this accident taught all of them that they’re here for a reason. Six people were in that jet when it went down and only 2 people lived. Yes, the only two people who are considered “really famous.” This might have happened because they already have the name to get great things accomplished. All they needed now is a story and this is it. Remember you guys: there’s always a test before a testimony. Think about it!

-Talkdatishgirl

Tionna on the Town: An MTV VMA Re-Cap

Hey, what's up everybody? It's your favorite grinder in the whole entire world, Talkdatishgirl, bringing you the latest from the MTV Video Music Awards which aired Sunday. There's a lot of things we need to discuss.

The first is Britney Spears' appearance. Didn't home girl look the bomb? Man, all those days in the gym finally paid off (that or she went and got her a little nip/tuck in there). Her arms were looking really nice and that gut she once had was gone.

The only thing I didn't like was MTV actually sat there and gave her three awards. Three awards for what? I guess one was for "Worse Live Performance Ever", the second "Best Meltdown in a Dramatic Divorce", and lastly, "Worse Mom of the Year." Man, that wasn't right, but if only her walls could talk- haha! MTV knows she didn't do anything to deserve an award much less three.

Hated T-Pain's minstrel self at the awards...he really gets me sick. He's always rock those MadHatter hats and make him look like a clown. How is he performing live, by the way, when he sings through a machine?

Lil' Wayne's pants were too baggy and he acts too drunk. He really starting to represent red like he's really a gang member. Lil Wayne, sweetie, we don't believe you, we need more people. And stop talking crazy to the black photographers at TMZ (were in a recession, the brother needs his job).

Ciara's weave looked like an animal they just threw on her hair for kicks, and Rihanna and her fashionista butt looked cute during her "Disturbia" performance. Now I would be extra happy if Kanye could get back to the hip-hop and stop singing. Period. But I guess all dreams can't come true.

-Talkdatishgirl

Tionna On The Town Book Review: Kim Osorio's "Straight From The Source" Pt. 2

What I find most disturbing in this book is the amount of references that Ms. Osorio claimed that Benzino made regarding who she messed with. Man, one thing for certain, two things for sure, you're not going to like Benzino's corny ass more after reading this book. He comes off as a power-driven, Puff Daddy-type but without the swag, money, or fame.

The title, "Straight from the Source" is appropriate because most of the book is about her time at the Source which goes from exciting, to moderate, to damn near a hell zone. A great thing about the book is it has a lot of names in the book and you can learn a lot about their journey in the industry and she tells the behind-the-scenes drama behind the Eminem and Source Magazine beef. I chuckled when she explained what went down with the Eminem cover when he had his middle finger up that came with the CD in which he was talking badly about black girls, because I still have that issue in my stash. I deem that a collector's item because it was a mirror image of how dumb consumers are when it comes down to the disrespect of black woman. I was S&A (shocked and appalled) back in the day when I read that Eminem had confessed to the tape. Um, goes to show ya.

Anyway, Ms. Osorio works hard to show you her personal journey during the maniacal days at the Source and under the rule of Dave Mays wanna-be-black behind and wack ass Benzino. I think it's a good read if you're interested in getting in the industry or have been an avid reader of the Source during her tenure, 2000-2005. I give this book eight out of 10 stars because everyone knows that Kim Osorio is a legend in modern-day hip hop in her own right.

-Talkdatishgirl

Tionna On The Town Book Review: Kim Osorio's "Straight From The Source" Pt. 1

Former Source Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Kim Osorio, releases her expose of hip-hop in her new book, "Straight from the Source". The book is to hit stores September 9th, but of course Ms. Smalls got the exclusive. Before I read the book, all I saw on hip-hop blogs were the names 50 Cent and Nas associated with it. These sites made it seem like Osorio has changed her name to Superhead and had traded her law school degree (yes, home girl graduated from law school) for a for a new car from a superstar lover.

Well Ms. Osorio--who is not one to be shy with words--has discussed her associations with rappers in the book, but I don't understand the shock. She was the head honcho at a "hip-hop bible." Of course, anyone would partake in the disciples. Wait...that came out wrong. No, but seriously, she does mention the times she got her groove on but it's not in a: "Oh, my God his penis was so..." type of way. It was more of a confessional way which helped tell the story, and not blow up the spot (as Osorio would say). I wish she would have gotten into more details about her sexcapades because I was dying to know if 50 Cent really could blow that back out like he brags in songs but a lady never tells and especially not in a book which is going to be read by millions. Besides, no one wants to hear anymore lies from 50 Cent talking about someone blowing his balls. Anything can tick him off these days especially with the sad sales of G-Unit's latest effort, Terminate on Sight.

I think the book is good for anyone to read, but it's mostly geared to women and not just any woman--a woman on the come-up of her career. Men will see the background on what it takes to run a magazine and the minute beefs that can get started in the entertainment industry. Women, on the other hand, will get lots more. They will understand what it's like to be a woman in a male dominated industry and how lots of times if something went wrong, it would be automatically be blamed on your emotions. It will also show you how petty the entertainment industry is and why you shouldn't deal with these cornballs in the industry because one moment you're enjoying nice love sessions in your favorite telly, the next you know your dessert of choice is blowing you up on the radio. Sad but true, there is a double standards when it comes down to men, women, and sexuality.

Dudes who work in the business and bust down chicks like Trina and Mya are given hand claps and looked up as playas and pimps, while a female who gives up the booty is considered a tramp. It killed me when 50 Cent said that BET's "106 & Park " host Rosci was a ho because she slept with eight guys. Newsflash 50, if every girl who slept with eight dudes is a ho then induct almost every female in the land-of-hobelieve because it happens.

GOSSIP: I'm Not A Gangsta, I Just Rap A Lot...

I was reading Blackspot's Blog "Don't Blame Rick Ross For You Being A Dummy" blog and although I agree with what he had to say, is it fair to the consumers buying these records that they are being lied to by their favorite rappers? Just on the heels of Rick Ross being exposed for lying about his past in law enforcement, it has been revealed that the rapper known as Plies, the self proclaimed "goon" has fabricated his past run-ins with the law. So should all the "goons" across America and "bust it babies" who bought his music because they could relate to the message be able to request a refund for those 15 tracks of lies on the "Definition of Real" disc?

Why is it all of a sudden not so cool to have a nursing degree from University of South Florida, Plies? But somehow through all the tell-all books, wax battles and youtube videos meant to damage his character, Jay has managed to play his cards well eliminating baggage from his life, one low life at a time. In the latest saga of his "Rags To Riches" story, Foxy Brown in an attempt to gain some press for her low selling album, claims that Jay-Z used to be her "Clyde" . In XXL September 2008's cover story she reveals that although she was loyal to Jay-z, he chose to walk away and left her broken hearted.

"Jay and I have history. There are things that he could have done better, as far as his loyalty to me, and I’m sure I’ve made mistakes that he felt he could’ve prevented.” Foxy chokes up. “When I lost my hearing, Jay gave me the respect to go heal myself. He stuck with me along the way. But there are times when I just really needed him, and it wasn’t even about Foxy Brown and Jay-Z. It was just like, ‘I need you to help me save my life,’ and he just wasn’t there.”

The tears are streaming down her cheeks. “I would never denounce him in public. That’s just how I feel. But I’ve been incarcerated for eight months, and Jay’s been everywhere, and he hasn’t mentioned one thing about, ‘Tell her I love her. Tell her to be strong.’ That broke my heart more than anything. When they sent me to jail, I just knew he would be there-everyone came. But he never showed up… My mother always says, jay also said this,in the tru life freestyle ‘Inga, when a person shows you who they are, believe them. Been showing me all through the years and you just don’t wanna believe it.’”

But Foxy isn't the first person who says Jay-z has alienated himself from them and kicked them to the curb. We can't forget the infamous youtube videos by Jay-z's former childhood friend De-haven who claims he hasn't talked to Jay-z since he was released from prison. Former Princess of the Roc, Teairra Marie spoke on Jay-z in a recent interview and claims her former Boss hasn't said a word to her since he dropped her from the label, although she considered him a father figure:

"When I first got signed I was 16. Jay-Z treated me like I was his daughter almost. Everything was great. That's why when everything happened it was a little shocking, 'cause it was like a family thing. I haven't heard from him since I've been away from Roc-A-Fella. My opinion of him today is probably the same as it was. As far as Jay-Z as an artist, I have nothing negative to say about him, he's the greatest. But, like I said, he was calling me his daughter and all that, that's what I thought it was because I respect his word...I haven't really spoken to him so it could be something else."

And who knows what happened between Jay-z and former first lady of the Roc, Amil. Remember her? Rumor has it Jay-z dropped her from Rocafella for getting in fights with his assistants and gaining weight, but neither has spoken on the split publicly.

So should we consider the man that Beyonce chose to marry cold hearted as some chose to paint him. He seems to have a way with easily detaching himself from people who are close to him without warning or remorse. The way I look at it, in life we have to chose who will take that ride with us and some people you have to let off at the next stop. It's up to you to choose your weakest links and eliminate them…and unfortunately for Foxy, Amil, Dehaven and Teairra Marie, they were all "the weakest link".

So I have to ask this question; Is Jay-z an example of someone who has forgotten his past? When you achieve a certain level of success parrallel to Jay-z's, how do you balance your past life and relationships with what you have going on in the present?

-Necole Bitchie

GOSSIP: The Omarosa Factor

I was watching a clip of Wendy William's day time talk show and her guest was Omarosa, best known for filling the role of the "angry black woman" or "B*tch" on Donald Trump's "Apprentice" reality show. Omarosa was on Wendy to promote her new book "The B*tch Switch: A How To Guide For Women." Omarosa started chatting with Wendy and made some good points including: "77% of women do not negotiate their salary." Most women take the first offer which is always the company's low end and run with it. I was very intrigued by this statement as I have been a victim of being low balled on several jobs because I was scared to speak up and negotiate my worth in fear of losing out on a position that I wanted badly. We've all been there...

Next, Wendy called Omarosa the stereotypical "Angry Black Woman" to which Omarosa responded: "I'd rather be an ABW than a buffoon." Ooooh. Omarosa continued: "When black women in the work place tend to speak up, we are labeled as angry." It was at this point of the show that I started to cringe. I couldn't believe I was watching two educated African American women on stage in front of a diverse audience blaming each other for how society views African American women. I was disappointed and disheartened because I feel that our culture is the only culture that blames and points fingers at each other. Black men put the blame on black women for them "dating outside of their race." Submissive and less independent women put the blame on the stronger independent black women for the stereotypes that black women in positions of power are hard to work for and are known as "b*tches." A person with a darker skin tone will always blame a person of a lighter skin tone for better treatment. We deal with colorism, we deal with racism, we deal with sexism….when will it all stop? As we continue to feed into these stereotypes and point the fingers at each other, we will never climb from the bottom of that barrel that society has placed us in.

Anyway, my first impression was this Omarosa chick was the epitome of how society views and places labels on strong African American women, who are educated, independent and know exactly what they want. Interesting enough, I googled "Omorosa" (note the improper spelling of her name) and found that the Urban Dictionary had a definition for what they call "The Omorosa Factor."

Definition: A slang term for the degree of risk white employers take when hiring black employees. It was coined in honor of a black female contestant on a reality show called "The Apprentice" who had very little value as an employee and an infamous ability to irritate all those around her. Companies fear hiring people like Omorosa[sp]. People who sell themselves very strongly, display up-front confidence and have a suitable resume, yet in the end offer no value to the company as an employee, create an environment of conflict and hatred among other employees, and is a walking time bomb waiting to scream "racism" or "sexism" the moment something doesn't go their way (e.g. denied a raise, promotion, or is fired).

Unreal! So my question is have I been fooled into thinking that Omarosa is just a strong, educated, independent and confident African American woman that everyone will automatically label as "confrontational" and a "b*tch" OR is she really that "Angry Black Woman" that no one would want to hire?

-Necole Bitchie

GOSSIP: Shawty Lo Won't Go Home!

Who the hell is Shawty Lo? That's the response I get every time I mention or publish a blog about the Atlanta rapper known best as T.I's nemesis. Aside from the crazy rumor that this Southern rapper was spreading the deadly bug (he claims he has diabetes), Shawty Lo (founder of D4L) hasn't gotten much play in the press until he attempted to make a spectacle of T.I. through a series of YouTube videos earlier this year.

Unfortunately, it all came back around to haunt him as earlier this week, news broke that Shawty Lo was hanging out in T.I.'s club and was given a brutal beatdown while T.I.'s new song "What Up"(which ironically is a Shawty Lo Diss) played in the background. The attacker was rumored to be a childhood friend of the rapper, but things went south which led to the nightclub attack and Shawty Lo getting his chain snatched.

In a story grinded by Drew Reports, Shawty Lo is denying he was involved in the altercation at the club pegging it some "Bowens Home sh*t":

“A couple of dudes from my Bowen Homes hood got into it with some other dudes from Bowen Homes. It really wasn’t nothing, just some Bowen Homes sh*t. It wasn’t an altercation with me at all. I didn’t get touched, period. And this had nothing to do with T.I.”

It must be three sides…..Unfortunately, where there is a club, there is surrvelience, on-lookers and camera phones and while Shawty Lo took a suspect vacation to Florida "to be with his family", his attacker Meatball has released audio of himself talking about the incident and what led up to the attack. Meatball in his native Bankhead tongue (which is hardly understandable) says that he did beat Shawty Lo to the ground, but he didn't have to snatch his chain because it was given to him. Meanwhile he claims Shawty Lo repeatedly begged for his chain back and he has audio to prove it. They are also threatening to release the club footage of the attack via World Star Hip Hop later in the week. Ironically the same method, Shawty Lo used to release videos of T.I's high school yearbook picture discrediting T.I.'s claim that he's from Bankhead.

Whew, the heat is on in Atlanta! They say you "start trouble, you get trouble,"so it will be definitely interesting to see how this plays out.

Still asking " Shawty Lo who"? Well Ozone Magazine knows as they just nominated him for five Ozone Awards for the release of his LP Units in the City…

I guess nowadays if you ain't beefing, you ain't relevant. Shame!

-Necole Bitchie

GOSSIP: Rick Ross Paying The Cost To Be The Boss

Someone has it out for Miami Boss Rick Ross, and it ain't Trick Daddy. Earlier this week, Rick Ross lashed out at Trick Daddy in a YouTube video for saying that he was once a correctional officer in Dade County. "He's a sucka, I don't f*ck with him. If you a G N*gga, come see me," he warns on the video. Trick Daddy and Rick Ross' beef dates back to the 1st Annual Ozone Awards when the two got into a scuffle backstage after Trick Daddy prompted the DJ to stop the music before Rick's verse in DJ Khaled's "Born and Raised" was scheduled to play. Unfortunately, the correctional officer rumor wasn't deaded as early this week, a photo of Rick Ross dressed in a correctional officer uniform emerged online and Rick Ross quickly wrote off the pictures as fake.

"My life is a hundred percent real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples’ body. If this s**t was real, don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything? I’m in the entertainment business and a lot of people like to hate because I’m on top of my game. Like I said before, my life is a hundred percent real. I live by this die by this. Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake."

Okay [pause] at Rick Ross claiming someone placed a high school photo of him on someone's body. He would have been better off denying the picture was even him as without the beard, he looks like a totally different guy. A grown man over 30, yes….a high school student...negative. Either way, if the rumor that he used to work in law enforcement wasn't enough to ruin his street cred and contradict claims of him pushing weight, his denial surely will. The truth is just a phone call away to Dade County's South Florida Recreation Center. As far as him lashing out to Trick Daddy, word on the streetz is his ex-girlfriend is behind the leaks. Of course, I ain't the one to gossip, so you didn't hear it from me…

And speaking of ex-girls, the rumor that he was engaged to Foxy Brown must have been a stunt as Rick Ross has taken up residence with a new chick, Flavor of Love's Shay "Buckeye" Johnson. Don't believe me? Check out the video. And my sources tell me this is very true.

-Necole Bitchie

GOSSIP: Celebrity Relationships Gone Wild

Last week, should have been called "Celebrity Relationships Gone Wild." After months of speculation that Diddy and his artist Cassie were bangin', US Magazine reported that Cassie indeed confirmed that Diddy and herself were no longer an item.

As they were leaving DJ Cassidy's 27th Birthday Party, Cassie was asked if the rumors that the two had split were true, to which she replied: "I can confirm that rumor." Although pictures have circulated around the internet of the two hugged up in Central Park on Mother's Day (WHERE WAS KIM PORTER??), and a few questionable videos of the two together (promoting her project of course), am I the only one still in denial that Cassie is f*cking for tracks?

Of course Diddy has been rumored to have relations with artists in the past, (remember those crazy Mase stories? If you don't, don't ask…) but I refuse to believe Cassie actually settled for being Diddy's jump. Although, the slick side-eye action in the Official Girl promo with Diddy, when she states: "Everyone wants to be someone's official girl" is rather questionable…

Moving on, Erykah Badu shocked the hell out of her fans (or at least me) when she came out swinging Badu style in a post on Okayplayer.com boards defending herself, her children and the men she chooses to lay down with. In the post titled "Pregnant with Insults", Erykah went in on her haters beginning the the post with: “I have never been so disgusted in my life!” She later followed up with the questions “What is Marriage? Who Is The Judge? I am an excellent mother and resent all of the negative comments and insults on my character. I PUT MUCH TIME AND THOUGHT INTO HAVING AND RAISING MY CHILDREN. IVE HAD THE HONORS OF HAVING 2 HOME BIRTHS AND 2 WONDERFUL PARTNERS BY MY SIDE”, and continues later with “F*CK OFF… WHO NEEDS YOU ….CERTAINLY NOT ME … KICK ROCKS … CALL TYRONE … PACK LIGHT …. BITE ME” . She then ends her rant with: “and if this post is not clear, kiss my placenta.” In case you are wondering what the placenta is, it's a female organ that connects to the fetus by the umbilical cord. Yes! Erykah got gully wit it…

Lastly, not sure what's up with Rocsi and Terrence's rumored off-screen relationship but they definitely had what could have been mistaken as a "lovers quarrel" during the taping of BET's 106 & Park<>. Terrence spent most of the show ridiculing and teasing Rocsi about stuttering over words and crossed the line when he asked: "Why can't you have a body like Ciara?" Mid-way through the show, Rocsi had had enough and walked off the set, refusing to finish out the live (taped) show. Terrence then made the comment: "Some people are way too sensitive when it comes to their jobs." Was Terrence out of pocket?

Not to confirm the rumor that they had an off screen romance, but these two are proof that dating co-workers is out of the question, as it is bound to get messy…

-Necole Bitchie

GOSSIP: Yung Berg's Fear Of A Dark Butt

Rapper Yung Berg has found himself in the hot seat after audio was released from his appearance on the "Lip Service" satellite radio show. During his interview he made comments that he was "racist" and that he didn't like "dark butts'.

"I’m kinda racist… I don’t really like dark butts too much… It’s rare that I do dark butts. Like really rare… It’s like, no darker than me. No darker than me. I love the pool test…. If you can be like ‘Yo, baby. I met you in the club. Let’s go back to my house. Jump in the pool exactly like you are.’–And you don’t come looking better wet than you were before you got in the pool then that’s not a good look. Any girls that use brown gel to lay down her baby hair is not poppin"

I had to sit back and ask myself if Yung Berg's statement was an example of preference or is it another example of "colorism" in the African-American culture. "Colorism" refers to when a person of a lighter skin tone is seen as being more desireable than a darker one. Did his statement set us back to the civil rights era when the "Brown Paper Bag Test" was used to determine if a person was "too black"? Some organizations actually used this practice to decide if a person was worthy of acceptance. Only if their skin tone was lighter than a brown paper bag were they able to get in. Back in the day, "The Pencil Test" could also be used to determine if someone was "too black" by inserting a penci in the person's hair. If the pencil got stuck, that person's hair was "too kinky" which placed them in the "too black" category.

Yung Berg's "Pool Test" is similar to the old "Brown Paper Bag" and "Pencil" tests--as he determines if a woman is worth his attention based on what she looked like when she exits a pool. Although he didn't come right out and say it, what he meant was if her hair laid wavy or straight when exiting the pool, she passed. But if her hair was kinky (the type that you have to lay down with the brown gel as he says) then she probably wasn't "light enough" to gain his attention.

Pictures circulated earlier this week of he and America's Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez shopping in New York alluding that the two were a couple. Fortunately for Jaslene, who is of Puerto Rican descent, she passes Yung Berg's modern day "Paper Bag Test".

Do you consider Yung Berg's choice in women to be a preference or another example of "colorism" in Today's society?

-Necole Bitchie

GOSSIP: You Won't Like Kanye When He's Angry...Or Will You?

Over the past few months, we've seen Kanye West at his worst when it has came to having flip-outs and meltdowns. In the past two weeks alone, Kanye has used his personal blog to blast the writer of a Harper's Bazaar article as well as the critics of his Bonnaro Festival performance. "This is the maddest I ever will be. I'm typing so f****** hard I might break my fucking Mac book Air," he writes. Fans would love to excuse Kanye's outbursts as a part of his grieving after losing his mother or just a reaction from him not getting the respect and recognition he deserves but is it really more than that?

In the story "Kanye West Headed To Anger Management Classes (Thank God) " grinded by talkdatishgirl, a source tells a British Tabloid that Kanye's management team came up with the great idea to send him to anger management after a few bizarre outbursts from the rapper. According to the grinded article, his mood swings were starting to "play a part in his commercial enterprises as people felt he was miserable all the time."

Kanye West obtaining the help he needs? I'm all for it, especially after watching the another video grinded by talkdatishgirl which shows a frustrated and angry Kanye backstage at the 2007 MTV Awards flipping out after he didn't win the awards he felt he deserved. In the clip he is heard yelling "F*ck MTV, tell em' what the f*ck I said! What happened to that rumor????? I guess after we broke up it was just forgot about???? I’m just using that as an example of how people make up stuff and everybody runs with it. I had my own family asking me about that. Now the media is saying I’m going to anger management something or ‘nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! lol! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah… SIIIIIIGGGHHHH! I told the media you can’t make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. Oh and sidebar I don’t know if everyone has realized this yet but I don’t do interviews if there’s anything I wanna say I’ll say right here on my own blog.

There goes anger management…*Shakes My Head*!
